The fire that broke out on March 26, 2004 destroying what was going to be Ramz Hall, a Residential Area for VCU students, is an unfortunate example of how devastating a disaster such as fire could be if it would occur at Chili’s Grill and Bar restaurant’s location. As mentioned in the blogs below, Chili's is located in the lobby area of the Cary and Belvidere Residential College; a fire, half the magnitude of the one in 2004, could be a critical life threating diaster.
-- The fire on March 26th, 2004 damaged almost 30 other separate buildings, estimating the total damage at 20 million: disrupting lives and many business operations around the area. Fortunately, no one was injured directly by the fire.
